Goran Kapetanović’s debut feature is a warm, family tale of growing pains. It tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who, after moving to a new town, tries to find a place among his peer group. When he ends up at the very heart of a conflict between two gangs of youths, he decides to use his leadership skills to tip the balance in favour of one of the sides… Will his reckless plan actually work?
The Fixafilm team had the pleasure of doing colour correction, DIT, grain management, online, and mastering (including DCP, BD, DVD) for this project.
Notably, the film was shot by multi-award-winner Ita Zbroniec-Zajt, who won a Guldbagge (at the so-called Swedish Oscars) in 2016 for her photography on the film The Yard, and was also nominated in the same category for the film My Aunt in Sarajevo.
The film’s big-screen premiere was held on October 27 and garnered excellent reviews. Thank you for trusting us!
