This year’s 39th Göteborg Film Festival was a special event for Fixafilm, since six films we had worked on were screened there!
Competing in the main award category were Yarden (dir. Måns Månsson), for which we did colour correction, VFX, DIT, grain management and mastering, and Granny’s Dancing on the Table (dir. Hanna Sköld), for which we supervised the post-production and mastering. The Svenska Premiärer section included My Aunt in Sarajevo (dir. Goran Kapetanović), for which we did colour correction, VFX, DIT, grain management and mastering.
Additionally, Goran Kapetanović’s short-film debut Refugee 532 was screened in the Svenska Kortfilmspremiärer section. Once again, we did colour correction, VFX, DIT, grain management and mastering.
In the documentary section, one could discover the film Taikon (dir. Lawen Mohtadi and Gellert Tamas) for which we restored the archival footage and did colour correction, grain management and mastering.
In a retrospective of 2015, there was another chance to see last year’s festival-winner – Underdog (dir. Ronnie Sandahl).
Thank you for your faith in us!
