Tichilesti is a Romanian village located over 1200 kilometres from Poland. Situated in the picturesque Danube Delta, surrounded by hills and forests, it is a place out of time. Once inhabited by several hundred people who were sent there because of leprosy. Now only ten of them are left. Separated from their families, and isolated from society, they live a slow existence that is heading towards its inevitable end.
